Plain Croissant (Dough Ready to Bake)
1. Thaw croissants by placing on a baking sheet, cover in plastic film and leave out at room temperature for 8-9 hours.
2. Make an egg wash by beating 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of either water, milk or cream. Brush to the tops of the croissant dough with eggwash (save remaining eggwash for step 4). Let rise in a warm area of your kitchen for approx 2 hours.
3. Preheat oven to 400
4. Egg wash croissants again. Bake for 15-18 min until golden brown.
5. Cool on a rack before serving.

Long fermentation and good ingredients are key when making bread here as it gives better flavour development while at the same time breaking down the wheat protein inside the bread to allow for better digestion. We are excited to be introducing great tasting bread and authentic Sourdough to Southern Alberta and looking forward to being part of the community in both Fort Macleod and Lethbridge.
We currently deliver to residents of Lethbridge, Coaldale, Coalhurst, and Taber! We also offer Pickup on Tuesdays from Mocha Local.
